Beta Notice
FalconHook is currently in public beta. The service is provided as-is while we iterate on features and stability. During the beta period you may experience breaking API changes, temporary downtime, or data resets with reasonable advance notice. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we work toward general availability.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using FalconHook ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
FalconHook is a webhook notification platform for the Algorand blockchain. You define rules specifying which on-chain events to watch (transaction type, sender, receiver, asset ID, app ID, minimum amount, etc.), and the Service delivers matching events to your configured HTTP endpoints, Slack channels, or Discord webhooks in near real-time.
3. Accounts & Authentication
- You must provide a valid email address and verify it before using the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account or API tokens.
- You must notify us promptly at contact@falconhook.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of compromise.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, or other usage restrictions.
- Register webhook endpoints that target internal/private IP ranges or use the Service as a proxy to access private networks (SSRF).
- Send excessive test deliveries or intentionally trigger retries to degrade service quality.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond what is provided through the documented API.
- Impersonate other users or tenants, or access data belonging to other accounts.
- Use the Service to facilitate spam, phishing, or the distribution of malicious content via webhook payloads.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information during registration and keep your account information up to date.
- Monitor your usage and ensure it stays within the limits of your plan.
- Promptly report any security incidents or unauthorized access to us.
5. Plans, Limits & Quotas
The Service offers tiered plans with different limits on the number of rules, stored events, delivery quotas, and data retention periods. Limits will be shown on a formal Pricingpage when available and in your dashboard. We may adjust plan limits with 30 days' notice.
Beta Notice
During the beta period, all users have access to the same feature set and generous limits. We will introduce tiered plans and pricing before general availability. We do not currently enforce strict limits, but we reserve the right to implement temporary rate limiting or data purging in cases of abuse or excessive usage that impacts service stability.
6. Webhook Delivery
- Deliveries are attempted with exponential backoff. Failed deliveries that exhaust all retries are moved to a dead-letter status visible in your dashboard.
- Each delivery includes an HMAC-SHA256 signature for verification. You are responsible for validating signatures on your receiving endpoint.
- Endpoint URLs must resolve to public IP addresses. The Service blocks delivery to private, loopback, and link-local addresses.
- We do not guarantee specific delivery latency, though we target sub-second latency under normal operating conditions.
7. Data & Privacy
- FalconHook processes publicly available Algorand blockchain data. We do not collect or store private keys or wallet mnemonics.
- Account data (email, hashed password, rules, delivery history) is stored in our database. Passwords are hashed with Argon2id and never stored in plaintext.
- Event and delivery data is retained according to your plan's retention period, after which it is automatically purged.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting contact@falconhook.com.
8. Intellectual Property
All code, design, documentation, and branding of FalconHook are the property of their respective owners. You retain ownership of any data you submit. We claim no ownership over the blockchain data delivered to you.
9. Availability & Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance when possible.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by the Algorand network, third-party infrastructure providers, or your receiving endpoints.
- During the beta period, no formal SLA is in effect. We will introduce SLA commitments before general availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FalconHook and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes missed or delayed webhook deliveries, regardless of the cause.
11. Termination
- You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings or by contacting support.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or remain inactive for an extended period, with notice where practical.
- Upon termination, your rules and delivery history will be deleted according to our data retention schedule.
- Termination does not limit our rights to pursue any claims against you for violations that occurred prior to termination.
- Termination takes effect after a grace period of 30 days, during which you may rectify any issues or disputes by contacting support@falconhook.com.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
